The Trauma Surgery and Physiatry-Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic specialises in examination and diagnostic procedures in the field of trauma medicine and medical rehabilitation with special focus on musculoskeletal system disorders. Our team provides medical rehabilitation using special techniques of manual medicine, exercise therapy and physical therapy, taking advantage of modern instrumental techniques for the treatment of patients suffering from vertebrogenic disorders, locomotor system disorders and post-surgery disorders with the aim of achieving the best possible functional improvement. We focus on shoulder pain, physiotherapy of the hand, knee and ankle and on spine disorders.

We deal with functional disorders of the locomotor system through rehabilitation and we place emphasis on detailed examination, which is a prerequisite for successful treatment management and for an earlier return to routine daily life.

We offer our clients a wide range of varied diagnostic methods. We are able to determine the specific problem involved and to focus on its precise therapy.

Professional assistant at the University of Cyril and Methodius in Trnava – Institute of Physiatry, Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation in Piešťany. Member of the Slovak Medical Association.

In 1991, Dr. Mašán became the Head of the newly established Trauma Surgery Department of Trnava county hospital and he remained in this post until 1998.

He has received several awards, and in 2015 he received a commemorative medal from the Head of Trnava County for his life-long contributions in the field of traumatology and for his publication activities. He is the author of tens of scientific papers and publications both at home and abroad.
